Fast Pace

It seems as if the last month is a blur. We have been going and going...and now i am at a standstill. ACL and I got sick about a week ago and the DR's are saying that it probably was Salmonella poisoning. We still went to Atlanta last weekend to go to Six Flags and to the Aquarium. I am so proud of how ACL acted even though she probably didn't feel up to it all. She never cried or complained, she had the best time.I don't know if you have ever had it but it is some tough stuff. ACL finally got through it and we had thought that i was over it but this weekend turned out differently. I was sick all weekend but tried to not be a party pooper. Yesterday, we were at my sister's house and after the TERRIBLE loss for the Ole Miss ReBEls, i layed on the couch an fell right asleep. So if i am not feeling any better by tomorrow i will be going to the Dr. to get her to check me out and make sure i get to feeling better. and the all the Hurricane's! At least we were spared by Gustav now we have to worry about IKE!
But i best be running now, We are off to the Circus~
Until next time,

Update...

Wow, a lot has happened since the last post. Memaw Billye continued to get worse about 2 weeks ago and the entire family held vigil with her. We all left August the 3rd and sadly she passed away at 7:10 am on August the 4th. Her daughters were with her to the last breath. Mom called me on my way to work to let me know. It hit me hard that my grandmother, my daughters "Special Grandma" was gone..No more 'Good Morning Memaw, How are you feeling today'! So after the phone call i went to work to get some things done before i left to be with my mom. Well I left work around 9:00 am so i could be with Mom when the funeral home came and got Memaw. It was so hard seeing them roll her out but knowing that she was already in heaven with Papaw was comforting! I never imagined that this day could get worse....
After the funeral home people left we all met at the Funeral Home to start planning her funeral. Well, CGM's phone rang and it was BBL and I told her that i would call him back! I glanced at my phone and noticed there were 8 missed calls...4 from BBBL and 4 from my mom-in-law...I knew something was wrong so i immediately called BBL and he asked if i had talked with anyone from work...Well No was my answer and his next words shook my world...He said..They were just robbed at gunpoint...I fell to my knees...! First of all, That is like my family and someone had stolen not only money but comfort from them and Second, I was supposed to be there and they had to get another teller from a different office. I automatically felt guilty. We are fortunate that no-one was physically harmed but mentally they were harmed. It was pretty awesome that one of the girls that was there said that threw the entire robbery you could hear prayers being said. How awesome!

Almost 2 weeks later...things are slowly getting back to normal although Memaws presence is surely missed but she is in no more pain. Please continue to pray for my family during this time.
Work is getting back to normal, although 2 people have resigned their positions from the bank. Please continue to pray for our safety at the Bank! I am tired and going to bed but i will finish updating later!
Until Next Time

WORK IN PROGRESS

Please excuse this mess that i call my Blog!!! I am currently trying to figure out how to make my blog have 3 columns and i am failing miserably! If you could help please send me a message to help me out a little!

Things are not good for Memaw Billye, my mom's mom, she had a stroke Saturday and is currently on Home Hospice. She has completely lost ability to swallow and is now not eating. We are going to visit this afternoon after work. It is sad not knowing when i walk out that door, if i will ever see her alive again...So sad! Please keep my family in your prayers!

Last night BBL and I took ACL to gymnastics..She loves it and as each week passes by she is getting better. BBL built her a balance beam off the side of her playhouse so she can practice each day! She is even beginnning to get the concept of HOPPING! I know it sounds funny but the poor child could not figure out how to Hop!

Until Next time!

Thankful...

We had a wonderful weekend but as usual, not long enough. We celebrated BBL birthday all week and he has yet to determine what he wants...grill..new gun...those are on his lists of wants!
I was soo excited to get home on Friday because the brick masonry guys were there to brick my new laundry room and it looks fantastic! Hopefully we will be putting the sheet rock this week and then Painting...whoo hoo! Saturday we went to eat lunch with Memaw Billye to celebrate her birthday. She is doing fair, just in a great deal of pain; so please keep her in your prayers! Then we were off to Hog Creek deer camp, where Dad just got voted in to be a member! We rode 4-wheelers, ran over a snake( it was already dead) and saw where some alligators had been sunbathing on the sand by the Pearl River! The rest of the weekend we were at home playing with the Horses and Dogs! Ben jumped on Sunny and Addison and I jumped on Doc bareback and rode in the pasture! Oh what fun it is to live in the country! Until next time...

It has been a while....

There have been some changes since the last post, so i am going to try to do an update!
BBL has started a new job and he is home now...It is so nice having him to help me pick up lil bit from daycare, but most of all just having him home at night. We had gotten pregnant and 11 weeks later we had a miscarriage, but throught it all we have remained faithful knowing that our heavenly father is going to take care of us! We go back to the DR soon to make sure everything is OK for us to start trying again! :)
We have enjoyed the Summer and we have even decided to start looking at getting a swimming pool. We are currently trying an above the ground pool to see if we are ready for the work that goes into having a pool. Within the first 2 weeks ACL could swim all by herself, when we are in the pool she just plays and plays. This past weekend sis and brother-in-law came over to eat dinner and go swimming with us and we had a wonderful time. We were in the kitchen cooking when ACL came in and asked TJWM to look at her hair in HER HANDS....Yep she had decided that she wanted bangs...I know I know it could have been worse because she only cut her bangs but man, it took forever to get those things to grow out! But it is just hair and it will grow back and the SCISSORS will be put up out of the way!
BBL has a birthday this week...So Happy Birthday, we love you and Hope you have a great day tomorrow!
Until next time....

precious moments

As you all may know BBL has started traveling with his company and is gone 3-4 nights a week..well ACL has started getting accustomed to daddy going out of town, so we value our days that he is home. I was looking at him and ACL playing this weekend and that little girl loves her daddy more than words...They are alot alike and there tempers sometimes don't go together because they are soo MUCH ALIKE!! I posted a picture of the two of them in the cowboy hats..They are too cute!! I am truly blessed to have them and I thank the Lord everyday!! BBL & I try not to take ACL for granted because we both know that she is growing up fast and she won't be this age forever!!

Proverbs - Chapter 22:6
6. Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it.

The Story of St. Valentine

The Story of St. Valentine
In 270 A.D., marriage had been outlawed by the emperor of Rome, Claudius II. Claudius issued this decree because he thought that married men made bad soldiers since they were reluctant to be torn away from their families in the case of war. Claudius had also outlawed Christianity in this time period because he wished to be praised as the one supreme god, the Emperor of Rome. Valentine was the bishop of Interamna during this period of oppression. Valentine thought that the decrees of Rome were wrong. He believed that people should be free to love God and to marry. Valentine invited the young couples of the area to come to him. When they came, Valentine secretly performed services of matrimony and united the couples.
Valentine was eventually caught and was brought before the emperor. The emperor saw that Valentine had conviction and drive that was unsurpassed among his men. Claudius tried and tried to persuade Valentine to leave Christianity, serve the Roman empire and the Roman gods. In exchange, Claudius would pardon him and make him one of his allies. St. Valentine held to his faith and did not renounce Christ. Because of this, the emperor sentenced him to a three-part execution. First, Valentine would be beaten, then stoned, and then finally, decapitated. Valentine died on February 14th, 270 A.D.
While in prison, waiting for his sentence to be carried out, Valentine fell in love with the jailer's daughter, the blind Asterius. During the course of Valentine's prison stay, a miracle occurred and Asterius regained her sight. Valentine sent her a final farewell note. He signed his last note, "From Your Valentine." Even today, this message remains as the motto for our Valentine's Day celebrations.

You mean it is already FEBRUARY...

I was at work today and i wrote the date down and i was like...it is already February...Time sure does fly..ACL is growing up soo much. She is trying to test us with her limits and occasionally tries to see what me and her dad will do. Last week she talked back to BBL and i thought he was going to trip over his bottom lip because his feelings were so hurt. Otherwise, she is doing great. Hopefully, we are going to start trying to have another one very SOON!! We have talked to ACL and she really wants a brother/sister..So we will see...anyway till next time!!!
